Why is it that multiple people have this issue and it has not been even looked at or resolved?  I have a Nividia EVGA GTX 1080 8GB graphics card and a i7 7700K overclocked to 4.8GHZ with my world objects at medium.  throughout my flight I have between 50 and 60 FPS but when I fly into a densely populated are with a lot of autogen, my sim says that 12GB of textures are loaded.  Why is it that Laminar has not payed any attention in this?  They should have the sim to where it detects what graphics card you have and load up to the max amount of space your graphics card allows.  This is pretty ridiculous after flying a 6 hour flight and having your sim go down to 10 FPS and have a low memory warning with a sim crash.  I am really looking away from doing flights of this length because of this very issue.  Come ON Laminar.  Fix this please.

First remove any addons to see if this still happens with a clean, default sim. If it still happens, file a bug report with a copy of the log.txt and have more info on the exact steps that you take right before it happens

I appreciate your suggestion but this is not a bug.  This is a Laminar Development issue.  Why is the sim loading 12GB of textures when my graphics card can only handle 8GB?  It is ridiculous.  They need to look into this and I am not the only one that had said something about this before.  And I have reinstalled a clean sim with no addons already.  Doesn't change a thing.

Hi shredderlizard1,

I am not with Laminar Research; just a flight simmer.

Jennifer is with Laminar Research.

Don't grumble about your problem.  If you want your problem resolved follow through with the suggestion made and lodge the bug report.
