I installed X-IvAp as per the instructions contained in the delivery file, namely: copied the "contents" of the "for_plugins_folder" into the "resources/plugins" folder of my installation folder. Restarted the system. X-IvAp does not show up in the plugins lists.

My first guess would be there are too many or two few folders in the hierarchy. What is the exact file path? Resources/plugins/??? . Typically the file path is resources/plugins/PluginName/64  or something similar.

The exact installation instructions, and what was done, was: "Just copy the contents of the for_plugins_folder into the Resources/plugins folder of your X-Plane installation directory".
