Checked - no other copy of X-plane running, allowed input for X-plane in Firewall. Still can't get it to work.
Latest update to X-plane didn't solve problem. Running 10.13.6 High Sierra. Been running X-plane 11 for months prior to today. Above suggestions don't work for me.
