I am currently using the FAACIFP18 file to update my navaids every 28 days in XPLANE 11 since I only fly in the US. I place this file in the custom data folder and rename it earth_424.dat. My question is can I use FAA's dof.dat file located here (
https://www.faa.gov/air_traffic/flight_info/aeronav/digital_products/dof/) to update antenna tower (examples: tv, cellphone towers) locations in the sim? There are several antenna towers missing from the sim. If the dof.dat would work, what would I need to rename the file and would it also go into the custom data folder? If not, what is the best way to update this data?
