all i get is a dark screen can see an airplane but no instruments and a purple vertical line how do i fix.

`i installed x-plane 11. After the program loads the screen is dark. you can make out an airplane but no panel or terrain. There is a vertical purple line from the top to the bottom of the screen. hoe do i fix this.

Hi,

when issues like yours are reported, I think it would speed up an answer if you list your PC specs, and maybe the log. Yours sounds to me like a video card issue, maybe you did not update the video card driver, or else. Just remember that X-Plane 11 requires a video card DirectX 12 capable, with at least 4BG of VRAM, although mine has only 3GB and I do not have any issues. You also may want to try the Graphics settings, and see if there is some option that you have to change. Hope this helps,
