rendering options

Question

I've downloaded demo.  It seems to work fine. Clear and my old sidewinder joystick works.  But I get this message

  your rendering options  are set too high - x-plane can't run in real time with current settings--minimum frame rates has not been achieved in over four minutes.  Does this mean that my computer is too slow or can this be fixed ?  Would like to know before i purchase full software.   Thanks

Hi - I would recommend that you turn down the graphics options in settings to see if that will work better for you. If not - try X-Plane 10! This is a bit older (yet still very good simulation) and it is a bit lighter on your computer. www.x-plane.com/try-it/older
