Does anyone else have a problem with shaders folder?

Question

It says it cannot find the folder Shaders/Legacy.glsl and that i need to run the updater to fix it, but i cannot run the updater as i cant get far enough into the game to get up the menu. Cam i find this file somewhere else?

Hi! This is sometimes also an OpenGL version issue. I would recommend that you try updating those. You can find some info here! https://www.x-plane.com/kb/updating-graphics-drivers/

I'm not from Laminar Research, just a fellow simmer in the UK, but firstly have a look in the C:\X-Plane 11\Resources\shaders folder in File or Windows Explorer (depending on your operating system) and look down the list of files to see if the Legacy.glsl file is present as it should be, as per the following link and screenshot:-

If not, please run the X-Plane 11 Installer.exe application (not the X-Plane 11.exe application itself) and click on Update X-Plane, as per the following link & screenshot:-
