frame rate decreased

Question

Having flown Sim for 3hours on the i5 6600K with nividia 1080 card, it appears frame rate display on screen is innacurate and moving slide adjustments under graphic section has no response.   The Sim flys just fine on the 19 inch monitor screen.

For past several hours a red lettered message says the real time weather failed to download and this indeed is what I can confirm on the Sim.

I am not from Laminar Research or XForcePC; just a flight simmer from downunder.
