Hi codysheppard82

I'm not with Laminar Research, just a fellow simmer in the UK.

Would you be able to re-upload a copy of your X-Plane 11 Log.txt file, the URL link you have provided only takes you to a website, it doesn't open your Log.txt file?

Regards

PS If you're not sure how to upload the Log.txt file, please click on the link and follow the instructions that I have put together :-) http://questions.x-plane.com/?qa=blob&qa_blobid=6028677675158833276

I have completely uninstalled xplane so that I could update to the newest clean version but now the installer keeps crashing

Hi again

Very sorry to hear that, could you possibly upload your Installer and X-Plane 11 Log.txt files for everyone to assess?

Update, my log file is now attached.  Since my original question I have completely uninstalled XPlane and reinstalled a fresh new copy finally.  I have no additions to scenery or anything.  My graphics driver, java, windows are all up to date and I am still getting a crash to desktop at the point that it says will init world rendering.  Please help this simulator is completely unusable to me and has been.  I have previously had no other issues

Hi

Your log file stopped whilst loading some files in your Resources folder, although sadly I'm at a loss as to why?

I did see this in your log file however:-

0:00:00.000 E/FMOD: C:/jenkins/design-triggered/source_code/app/X-Plane-f/../../engine/sound/soun_fmod.cpp(98): FMOD error 51 - Error initializing output device.
0:00:00.000 E/SYS: +-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
0:00:00.000 E/SYS: | The sound system could not be initialized!
0:00:00.000 E/SYS: | This could be because your sound hardware was unavailable. Please restart your system and try again.
0:00:00.000 E/SYS: | X-Plane will continue normally though you will not hear any sounds.
0:00:00.000 E/SYS: |
0:00:00.000 E/SYS: | (hl_init.cpp:1614)
0:00:00.000 E/SYS: +-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Have you any idea what this may be, as I've seen this before whilst trying to help another simmer?

I also noticed this Jenkins/Design file is in your C:Drive, whereas X-Plane 11 appears to be in your D:Drive?????

Personally I don't have this Jenkins Design file in my X-Plane file structure at all?
