X-Plane 11 Add on planes are not showing up for me?

Question

I have a problem with add on planes as they do not show up for me in-game.. I have downloaded "B737-800X ZIBO Mod" and extracted it into "X-Plane 11/Aircraft" and that does not work for some reason? I have also tried making a folder in "X-Plane 11/Aircraft" called "Addons" and placing the unzipped file into there but that also does not work. For some reason I cant get it to work.. I have tried 2 other planes also and they seem to not work for some reason aswell? Anyone able to help me please?

Hi JustVito,

I am not with Laminar Research; just a flight simmer.

I cannot get to my x-plane system to verify what I advising.

Get rid of the sub folder you have created for your add-on aircraft.

My memory tells me there is a "check box" you need to tick in the top right hand corner of the screen when selecting your aircraft.  This should help.

Also before you do anything else have a look at the following link found at  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4RjIxrhkXs from Michael Brown.  Michael operates a business, XForcePC,  that specialises in the building of PCs predominantly for X-PLane.  Laminar Research recommends this business as the preferred supplier of PCs within the USA (mentioned in the X-Plane Manual).  Pay particular attention the last half of the video.
