Users should be able to use X-Plane with modern monitors

Hello X-Plane team,

X-Plane is great, but its user interface was modern in the late MS-DOS era. The UI is not windows conform and cumbersome to work with (not to say user unfriendly). I knew this before and I nevertheless bought X-Plane. But I should be able to use X-Plane with modern monitors. Your answer to my first post, I should lower the "resolution to 1080p.." cannot be meant serious. I bought a highres. monitor, a fast gpu and a fast cpu to enjoy the features they provide not to scale them down.
