I moved X-Plane folder to Apps folder to give everyone in the family access.  It would only run from my (Admin) account.  Decided to move folder to Trash and do fresh install into Applications folder. Installer keeps saying "A copy is already installed".  I have  searched and deleted every file I could find, emptied trash etc.

MAC, OS X El Capitan 10.10.5

Thanks!

X-Plane keeps track of the install locations in the preference files located in your user library -> preferences. Delete x-plane_install_10.txt and it will let you re-install X-Plane as if it were the first time.
