Thermals effect on wings

Question

How thermals are modelled? Will it affect the plane in a whole, or as it should that if only one wing is in it then it will lift that wing and make the plane turn away from it?

Laminar answered my question in an email. At the moment it affects the whole aircraft, but they already programmed the per element lift, but didn't released it yet.
