Hi iflyrjs,

I am not from Laminar Research; just a flight simmer from downunder.

X-Plane 9 is not promoted but can still be purchased direct from Laminar.  Should you have a problem you will get support from other flight simmers and hopefully from Laminar.

Consider changing to X-Plane 11.  It has a lot more benefits than XP9 but it is resource hungry on the CPU and GPU.  You need a high spec system now with good cooling.  Have a look at the following link found at https://www.x-plane.com/kb/x-plane-11-system-requirements/  If you have have to upgrade then go for a NVidia card and Intel processor for best performance.  AMD components are currently lagging.
