What do I do?

I just started playing X plane 11. I encounter the missing scenery popup at every airport and there’s no terrain at all, it’s just water everywhere. Please help

Hi Arhum

I'm not with Laminar Research, just a fellow simmer in the UK.

If you haven't downloaded global scenery for certain areas of the world, water only will appear!

To download areas of global scenery that you don't already have, open the X-Plane Installer app, and press the 'Continue' button a few times until you are presented with a global map. 

From there, just click on the area of the world you are interested in and press 'Continue' again to proceed to download. Please see photo below of the page you need.

Warning, the download may take quite some time to complete!

Hi Arhum,

Like Greengolfer15 I am not from Laminar Research.  Just a flight simmer from down under.

In asking your question you haven't indicated that you have officially purchased X-Plane.

If you have then follow the advice from Greengolfer15.

If on the other hand you have not, you will be locked into the demo mode with a time limit of approximately 10 minutes once you commence your flight.  More importantly you will be locked into a fixed location being Seattle and will not have any scenery, only water.  This will be same for all demo flights irrespective of what aircraft you select .
