Bought the downloadable version today. the game crashes automatically on startup. unable to startup with the game

Please check that your computer meets our basic system requirements. Please attach a copy of the log.txt found in the main X-plane folder.

after removing the preference folder from output folder the game works but it again crashes as soon as i try to change the aircraft

Looking at the log, it looks like you have moved the X-Plane app out of the X-Plane folder. Your file path is:

X-System folder:'/Applications/'

While it should be more like:

X-System folder:'/Users/JenniferRoberts/Desktop/X-Plane/'

Please put the app back in the main X-Plane folder and see if that fixes it.

Hi,

You haven't given your PC specs and log text. XP could not be running because your PC could be overheating or not even coming close to the desired specs. Plugins could also be crashing the game so a log text helps. Have you tried DELETING the preference files inside the folder? That resets the sim
