A few days ago, my X-plane X started performing poorly, without any obvious reason. Where I earlier had been running at a comfortable 60+ fps, I now struggle reaching 20, no matter what aircraft or scenery I have loaded. the default c172 gets about 16 fps at laguardia as well as at a small Norwegian regional airport. I've tried disabling plugins such as Skymaxx and RWC, but to no avail. I am running an i7 6700K at 4.2 gHz, and a gtx 1070, as well as 32 GB DDR4 RAM. According to my hardware monitoring software, the cpu load and gpu loads are never above an average of 15-20%, yet the output in X-plane seems to think it's the CPU being the bottleneck. I have no clue about what is wrong. Here you will find my settings and some screenshots: http://imgur.com/a/qASRR

Did you update anything? Did you just get the latest X-Plane beta? Perhaps a new graphics card driver? New scenery or aircraft? Something must have changed to see a drastic fps drop, and it's just a matter of figuring out what it was.
