I have installed and used Control Pad on my iPad Pro and it seems to control everything but weather and time.  Any suggestions on what I need to configure to have full functionality from Control Pad?

With X-Plane running, I would close Control Pad completely (double press the home button on your iPad and swipe up on the app) then restart it and reconnect to X-Plane.

If that doesn't work, please provide more info on which versions of each application you're using.

I have completely reinstalled Control Panel.  I also deleted the preference files from X-Plane.  Neither helped.  The following is the list of what's working and what's not:

  • CRAFT - OK
  • START:
    • AIRPORT - No
    • SPECI - Yes
  • WGT - OK
  • WX - No (all features on this tab not working)
  • FAIL - OK
  • MAP - No (reposition and parameter setting not working)
  • SITS - Not tested

I'm running:

  • X-Plane 10.45
  • Control Pad 1.06

My system:

  • iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014)
  • 3.5 GHz Intel Core i5
  • 32 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
  • AMD Radeon R9 M290X 2048 MB
  • OSX El Capitan version 10.11.6 (15G31)

I'm having the same issue on both my iPad 2 and iPad Pro 9.7.

When the Control Pad  first came out, it worked just fine.
