I have misplaced Disc 1. Would the USB key compensate for the missing disc and help move away from demo mode...

Yes, either the USB key or the Digital Download key would replace disc 1. You can also contact [email protected] to discuss it on a case-by-case basis.

I have an old USB that I used on an old Mac OS. I now have El Capitan 10.11.2 Where do I find a new driver for the HASP USB key?

Hi William,

You can download the drivers on the X-Plane store page. Scroll down to the section where the USB key is discussed. There is a link in the last sentence that will download them directly.

It was on their Downloads page, but they only have drivers for Mac OS 10.7 (Lion) and I've got 10.11 (El Capitan). The driver I downloaded from that page didn't work so I've written support to see if they have El Capitan drivers. Disappointing that they are years behind in updating drivers - not very Mac friendly.
