X-Plane10 -> X-Plane 11

Question

Hi,

I've been running X-Plane 10 for a while now through Steam, and like most people I'm excited about the release of X-Plane 11. I'm tempted to go ahead now and purchase the digital download version of XP10, to get XP11 free on release day, but I'd like to understand if I have to go ahead and install the digital download version of XP10 to be able to get/upgrade to XP11. Or is XP11 going to be a fully separate download?

X-Plane 11 will be a fully separate download.

If you purchase the combo pack currently on sale on X-Plane.com, you do not need to install X-Plane 10 again. You will receive one product key that will allow you to install both, or either as you prefer.
