xplane for mac then to PC

I want to purchase this game, I am currently building a new gaming pc for myself and was wondering if I purchase this game, 1. will it work on my mac book pro for now, and will I be able to use the same serial number to download it to my PC hopefully in a month or so? 3. guess with this deal does it go for both 10 and 11?
