X-Plane 11 Demo Version - no mouse visible

Question

I just installed X-Plane Demo Version 11, and my mouse is not visible on screen. Various icons will flicker as I blindly move my mouse at random, but the actual mouse/cursor is missing.

If I connect a second display to my system, the mouse works fine on the second display's DESKTOP (not X-Plane). I get the same behavior when using my system's built-in track pad, an external Bluetooth mouse, or an external USB mouse.

Windows 10 64-bit. HP Spectre X360 laptop (that meets the minimum hardware requirements).

Please go ahead and file a bug report if you haven't already, so we can keep track of how many people may be experiencing this issue. Please quit X-Plane and include your complete log.txt found in the main folder, as well as which graphics card drivers you have installed.
