X plane.org vs Xplane gateway, Openscenery x

Hello,

I have two questions please:

1. What is the different between airports scenery in (x plane.org) and in (x plane gateway)? Are they both safe to use or can they interfere with my program or my airplanes?

2. Is (Openscenery x) safe to download or can it interfere with my program or my airplanes?

1. Scenery in the X-Plane Gateway is periodically exported and given to all X-Plane users as global scenery. So you do not need to download any scenery from there and you will still get scenery with updates. Scenery from X-Plane.org can be freeware or payware and will override any global scenery provided by the Gateway updates.

2. OpensceneryX is required by many scenery packages available online, including some at X-Plane.org. No scenery on the Gateway can or will use it. It should not interfere with default scenery packs so it shouldn't be a problem to download it.
