Xbox 360 controller will not work with Xplane 11

Question

I can calibrate the controller and all axis are working during the calibration process.But when in game the roll or pitch will not work. Everything else does apart from these two. Operating system is Windows 10

This is very frustrating as I have just bought the game and I have this issue already. please help.

You need to make sure once you have calibrated the Xbox 360 controller to look for Left Stick (top right of the page), and change the X axis to pitch, and the Y axis to roll as just calibrating it won't pre-select the controls for you.

I have to same problem well trying the demo.   Pitch and roll are already set correctly to the left stick and work fine in the options, you can see the bars moving.   But when in game it does not respond only the right stick and buttons work not the left stick.
