Hi, I have a problem with turning on Auto throttle on default 747-400

I have xp 10.5 and am following tutorials on

how to fly the default 747-400.  After take-off with source turned to FMCL, the auto throttle button doesn't not seem to work. Even during tutorials they seem to have to juggle with button several times and then somehow they turn it on. With source from CDUC (NAV1), this is not a problem. Can't seem to find the answer anywhere. Help please!  thx. mario

I cannot really offer a solution but if all the tutorials use the left FMC and struggle with the AT button then it probably should be correct procedure. This looks more a bug and should be reported as one.
