Hello,

Yesterday I've re-installed XPlane 10 on my Linux laptop. After a very long time required to install the overall package I've discovered that unfortunately, it doesn't work! Every time I try to launch a simulation with one of the integrated aircrafts (like the Boeing 747-400) I get an error message:

"This aircraft has reverse thrust capability as decided in the ENGINE screen. But there is a problem. The max THROTTLE available for reverse thrust as decided in the engine screen in ZERO PERCENT! OOPS"

I tried then to change the airplane configuration by removing the reverse thrust capability but, at that point, I have another error message:

"Look at the WEIGHT & BALANCE window, then look at the ratio of fuel in each fuel tank. Those numbers indicate the fraction of your total fuel in each tank. Those ratios must all add up to 1.0 ... right now they don't!"

Obviously it's not true! I have 3 tanks: 0.5, 0.25 and 0.25 wich means 1.0. Even by checking the airplane file via text readed I can read the correct values (0.5, 0.25, 0.25, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0 ...).

What is going on? Could you please help me?

Thank you so much for your time and patience!

You didn't attach a copy of the log to show if you have plugins installed. If these problems happen with default aircraft, the first thing to do is to download & run the latest installer and pick the "update" option to fix missing or damaged files.

Thank you for your help, jroberts.

By removing the Python Interface everything works perfectly.
