Hi, I would like to let you know that I'm experiencing a huge fps loss, from 45/50 to 18/20, and lot of stuttering with the RC1 comparing to the great performance I had on PB16.

I had settings almost maxed out on PB16 and it was incredibly smooth while now, even lowering some settings, there is no way to get even close to the previous performance.

I decided to delete and completely reinstall XP11 without any addon but it didn't solve the loss of performance.

Greetings from Italy

I had the same issue lastnight flying some IFR flights on Pilot Edge using RC1.  The stuttering happened several times and was quite annoying (i thought the sim was crashing in the middle of my flight).  I'm running on a super fast m.2 SSD, with a GTX 1070 and 7700K.  I've had some framerate issues in the past, but it has never stuttered like it did last night.

Performance was great on PB16 almost maxed out at 3440x1440 res with an average of 40 fps with X Enviro...then something has happened with RC1.

XP11 is running on a 4790k@4,9 ghz, 980 Ti @1500 mhz/8000 mhz, on 850 Pro 512 gb SSD.

Try the old restart the pc and also move your pref folder out of x-plane directory....

I had the same issue. I just moved the x plane folder from my hard drive to my SSD and this solved the huge FPS drop.

It's already running on a Samsung 850 Pro SSD as it was the PB16.

Thanks anyway!

My stutters on RC1 were with everything (system wide) on a Samsung 960 Pro M.2, so I don't think this is (at least only) a Disk I/O issue.

I agree...PB16 was running smooth on the same SSD...seems to be a performance decrease introduced by RC1
