Hi folks,
Just joined but I am having problems before I have even got started.... Hopefully someone can pick this one out fairly easily.
I initially tried downloading the demo version and it refused to install. I have now paid for the full version but unfortunately I am having the same problem on install.
I can download the X-plane 10 installer but when double click on the installer icon after extracting, a window opens with a blank black screen. A few moments later another error window pops up with the following message....
X-Plane 10 installer exe. has stopped working
A problem has caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program.........bla bla....
I have now tried the X-plane 10 installer on 3 separate laptops. One runs windows 7, one runs windows vista and one runs windows XP.
I'd be interested to hear any solutions etc.

Update/edit....
I am currently trying X-plane 9 demo install and it seems to be installing as I type. I would still like to have X-plane 10 working if possible.
I am unsure how to obtain log files from the x-plane 10 install attempt as it has never actually been running to produce a log file.
I will update as version 9 installs anyway.

Version 9 demo installed and operates reasonably well. I'm still very interested in getting the full version 10 working if possible.
