Dear,

I am using a separate computer to display the flight instruments of the main simulator through the network. Is there a way how I can disable the rendering of the scenary and ony display the panel on the monitor?

Thanks

You can remove scenery with the installer so that you have only water around the airports. Use the add/remove scenery button.

Thanks,

Can I completely disable the rendering of 3D content like airports and water such that the PC is minimally loaded. The pilot outside view is rendered on another PC. I only need the 2D panel.

Removing the default scenery tiles will reduce the load a lot. You can remove the global airports folder from the Custom scenery folder (the installer will replace it after every update) but removing the default apt.dat resource will cause X-Plane to stop working. Turn number of objects down to minimum to reduce how much airport "stuff" is drawn.
