Where dir my Global Scenery Folder contents go? Why can't I get X-plane 11 to recognize my ortho scenery?

I just started playing around with ortho4xp and in the process discovered that aside from a subfolder named KSEA Demo, there are no other contents in the Global Scenery folder.  If that is the case, where is X-Plane getting the data to make up the scenery which is as is supposed to be as far as I can tell,

I discovered this because I am having trouble getting X-Plane to recognize the scenery I've generated with Ortho4xp.  Perhaps the problems are related.

I should mention that I purchased the program on Steam, and don't appear to be having any problems other than the usual buggy stuff we all encounter from time to time.  Otherwise the program runs decently without crashes.
 

Any help will be greatly appreciated..

Hi,

You need to place the folder(s) generated by Ortho4XP in X-Plane11/Custom scenery folder.

You will also need to be familiar with the following file :

X-Plane 11\Custom Scenery\scenery_packs.ini

I personnaly prefer to be cautious about the names of the folders I place in Custom scenery and delete the file scenery_packs.ini, but there are several methods.

PS : If you want to find where Steam placed your X-plane folder, you probably know it but you need to right click on X-plane in the steam window and you'll have a "browse files" option or something similar. I got rid of Steam for X-plane 11.

It would be a complex path like this :

[...]\Steam\steamapps\common\X-Plane 11
