Hi there,

I am having an issue running "X-Plane 11 Installer" that I download from the link above.

The error message is:

"X-Plane 11 Installer.exe has stopped working

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

Close Program"

I just bougth my copy of X-Plane 11 and I know this issue is old, but I am trying to install it and I always get this message.

I already updated the drivers for my graphic card and I still get this error.

Start is as Administrator, if that does not work, try downloading it again and start it as administrator...

I was having the same problem.. i checked the log in my folder where i actually stored the program. It was all errors associated with my graphics card.. i have updated both graphics cards.. now hopefully problem solved. Hope this works for you.

The problem  with mine was the Nvidia suite was telling me my driver was up to date but still not working so went to the device manager and updated all my drivers from is not the installer log file you need to refer too on the desktop. It's the log file in the actual installation folder where you installed X-Plane.

Hi, can you include the log.txt file? You will find it on your desktop.

Hi peeela,

Where are you trying to download X-Plane too?

The recommended location is the desktop and not your normal operating system drive.  This is normally the "C" drive.  X-Plane is a dedicated standalone file system but as others have stated in this forum it can still become corrupted if you do download to that location.

An alternative, if you have the ability to do so, is to download to a dedicated drive just for X-Plane, with nothing else on that drive.

Hope this may help as well.
