Loading on Windows 10. I don't see a log file as only a partial load. Says I don't have the necessary permissions and to contact support.

We recommend installing X-Plane to the desktop. There are some install locations that can cause issues such as this. One other thing to watch out for is inserting the correct disk that the installer asks for--it doesn't warn you if you put the wrong one in by accident.
