Unable to install on Windows 7

Question

When I click the x-plane installer.exe I get an error message that says; x-plane installer has stopped working. Windows is searching for a solution.  Nothing happens after that. I am running a Intel core 3-2120CPU @ 3.30 GHZ, 6 GB RAM, 64 bit operation system

What country / state are you located in? I'm seeing a lot more complaints of this but have not been able to reproduce it myself.

I am in Texas, USA. I am using Windows 7 Home Premium Service pack 1

Hi, you should upload the log.txt file generated by the installer (in the same folder or on the desktop).
