You can do a search through windows for the file on your whole computer. Unless you erazed it by accident, it should find it.

If all else fails, reinstall the program.

Good luck, Jan

If you can't find a file or have modified something by accident, you can run the installer and choose "Update." It will scan your files and either replace missing ones, or ask you to pick if you want to overwrite your changes to default files. Note this only works with default files.

Thanks for the info.  I have done what you suggested,  It took nearly 2 hrs to update. I now seem to have another copy of the software.  i have a 64bit exe file which works but i have no scenery. Any idea how to uninstall X plane so I can reinstall from scratch.?

Sounds like you picked the option to install a second copy instead of updating.

To uninstall X-Plane, drag the folder to the trash.
