Someone else found the answer to this and I was about to give until I stumbled on the answer. This should be better known and or fixed as it is obviously happening to a lot of people. This other person wrote:Enable Nvidia GPU instead of Intel HD going through NVIDIA Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Preferred GPU > Set to NVIDIA GPU > Apply. Then apparently the installer recognizes the NVIDIA® GeForce® MX150 4GB and it worked._________I have the NVIDIA GeForce GT550M. So this problem seems to be with those with NVIDIA hardware.I did the following to fix this: Under the NVIDIA Control panel, select Manage 3D settings, and under the Global settings tab. from the drop down, I select High Performance NVIDIA Processor. Then click Apply. And finally it worked.
Not sure if I have attached the file correctly, but appreciate the help.

This log is from an old version of the installer. Please download the latest installer (4.03r2) and see if it helps. Did you confirm your computer specs meet the minimum requirement for X-Plane 11?
