X-Plane 11 Installer Crashes

Question

Have experienced this problem for awhile now. The X-Plane 11 Installer, downloaded directly from the X-Plane website crashes at startup. I have it installed on my laptop, no problems. This error only occurs on my desktop, and with some hardware changes.

My Original Rig:
Windows 10 Pro
MSI X99 SLI Gaming Plus MB
Intel i7 5820k Not OC
16GB DDR4 RAM
EVGA Hybrid 1070 GPU

My New Rig, in which the problem still persists:
AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950x
MSI X399 Gaming Pro Carbon
32GB DDR4
Same EVGA Hybrid 1070

Due to the fact the GPU is the only persistent hardware, I lean towards it being at fault. This is backed up by the installer log file, attached below, that shows the last entry as errors in NVIDIA OpenGL. I'm really not sure where to go from here or how to get this working. Any help greatly appreciated!

Try updating the graphics card drivers. Does the installer crash with any sort of message or just the usual generic Windows "stopped working" message?

Graphics drivers are on latest version. And crashes with generic Windows message.

There's no information in the log on why it's crashing then. There may be a slightly newer version of the installer available, which you can try just in case it helps.

I've downloaded the latest available installer from the Xplane website and it crashes.

Not sure why I never tried it before. My primary monitor is 4K and my secondary is 1080p. I set my 1080p monitor as the primary, both coming from the same graphics card, and the installer worked. I'll submit a bug report and try to follow up on the issue with Laminar Research.

I am glad you fixed this, I had a similar issue and without the a recent driver the installer crashes on startup, drove me nuts for an hour...
