Crashing on start up and very low performance after update

Hello,

I've been a very satisfied X Plane 10 and never had any problems with it. So I just bought X Plane 11 because I had very high trust in it being as smooth as X Plane 10. However, until now I'm only having problems.

First time I started the program it worked flawless with very fast loading times and good FPS. But the second time I wanted to play it didn't start up anymore. After lots of reading of what might be a solution I run the updater and installed the beta version 11.11 but this didn't work. Then I tried to remove the shadercache folder. This seems to work but not always as sometimes it still crashes on loading so this problem is still not completely resolved.

But my second problem is that now when it does work my fps have dropped with about 50%. I've lowered the settings much more than the first time and it doesn't seem to make any difference. At almost lowest settings on anything framerates are at about 12-13 fps. Also loading times have ten folded compared to the first time.

Is there anything I can do about this? Maybe it's  because of the update? Is there a possibilty of reversing the update and going back to 11.10? I've an i5 4690K and HD 7950 and haven't changed any drivers or anything on my computer. Also the installation of X-Plane is completely standard without any additional plugins or scenery.

Mine has done the same when I updated it meaning that I can no longer use the game. Have you checked that your computer meets the requirements to run the game?

Yes, I do meet the minimum requirements. It actually worked beyond expectation but only the first time I  used it. Now it's totally useless and might have to reinstall X-Plane 10 again.
