A couple of weeks ago X-Plane became unusable with what I would describe as serious lagging.  I assumed it was a Windows update and after messing around with it for a long time I did a fresh install.  Everything worked like a champ until I reinstalled the Saitek plugin for all of my gauges, switches, etc.  Same problem came back.  I can uninstall the plugin and everything is back to normal.  Any suggestions?

Hi atlshaver,

I am not with Laminar Research; just a flight simmer.

The following link from Michael Brown may be of some assistance at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqwIhuxe95U  Take notice of the information provided in the first half on the video concerning powering and how to power Saitek products.  Michael owns a company called XforcePC which specialises in selling PCs predominantly for X-Plane.  Laminar Research recommends this company as the PC supplier in the USA for Xplane users.

There was a limit within X-Plane on the number of USB items that could be connected/controlled/run.  I understand that limit has been raised.  Not sure on the new limitation but was at 10 units some time back.

Good luck in solving your problem as I will be in the same "boat" when I relocate my system in the next few weeks and setup all of my units.

Glenn
