After adding second throttle quadrant my X plane 10 is way too slow

Question

Just bought and installed X-Plane 10 this week. Preparing for my Multi-engine checkride.  Worked well on this computer when flying single engine plaine. Saitek Yoke.

Then I added a second quadrant. Now it is so slow that it's not really usable .

Macbook Pro, OS 10.13

2.4 Ghz  8 GB RAM

If you unplug the 2nd throttle do you immediately see an improvement? Are you sure there were no other changes, like any add ons installed, to you X-Plane install or system? Unfortunately X-Plane 10 is no longer under active development so if there is a bug with multiple throttles, it will remain in the sim.
