Installing X-Plane problems

Hi, I'm have a little problem with the installing of my new X-Plane I have the disk set.  I installed it for the first time on Sunday. After every takeoff and about 5mins in to my flight my aircraft would crash.  this happened about 15 time. asked around on Forums I did not find anything other then computers crashing.  So I uninstalled it and try to reinstall it when I get to disk 3 the download just clocks and clocks. How do I fix this problem?

Hello,

This seems to be a hardware issue as clicking from a CD-ROM usually means a scratched or unreadable disk.

Answered in other places and I'm not sure this is the solution. Make sure the disc is snapped down tightly in the player. I had problems with several discs that didn't snap into place easily.
