FSX10 has a relatively rich ATC experience. In VFR flight plan you can request transit of flight space, request different flight altitudes etc. Departing or Arriving you can announce your intentions and location in the pattern. Also under flight planning you can specify and enter waypoints of your own choosing. Also FSX ATC seems to assign safe headings and altitudes especially helpful in mountainous areas. When I am IFR in the soup on X-plane, ATC seems to send me into mountain collisions that I only discover too late. I am concerned that I have not discovered or I am not using the full capabilities of x-plane ATC. Any suggestions ?
