XPlane crashes when loading T-6

Question

I purchased the T-6 Texan II update for XPlane.  I downloaded the file and saved it in the XPlane military aircraft as instructed.  At first I could load it and actually fly around, however the electronic display was blank (confirmed the power was on in line with the startup checklist).  An activation screen eventually popped up and I put in the product code provided via email.  It appeared to work and said that the product was activated, however now whenever I select the T-6 as my aircraft the game crashes/shuts down while the aircraft is loading for the flight.  Other aircraft load without an issue.

Since I'm only authorized 2 downloads according to the website I haven't tried downloading and installing the aircraft again.

Please help!

Hi cbp1460,

I am not with Laminar Research; just a flight simmer.

As you are trying to add-on and use a 3rd party aircraft within X-Plane I strongly suggest you contact the reseller or the developer and seek their advice as well.

Having seen similar problems with other 3rd party aircraft in earlier postings in this forum the answer from Laminar Research most probable will be what I have suggested.
