Missing scenery in cities? Chicago

Does anyone have an idea as to why my default scenery of Chicago looks like this? The area surrounding it looks fine, but the roads and buildings suddenly vanish.

Aircraft wasn't close enough to load.

Check your Graphics Settings.  Rendering of the roads, buildings and traffic are directly proportional to the “Number of World Objects” setting.
