Once the digital download has downloaded and installed do I still need an internet connection to run it or can it be run offline?                                                                                                                                                                       If I play on one pc and then want to upgrade my system to a more powerful one can I copy the simulator onto the new system without having to purchase the sim again?
Thanks, x.

Hi X

I'm not with Laminar Research, just a fellow simmer in the UK, but the answer to your question is yes, you will require an internet connection to run the digital download of X-Plane 11, as LR will check your licence to make sure you have a valid copy.

If you wish to upgrade your PC or replace it with another more powerful one, then you simply download X-Plane 11 again onto the new machine and use the original licence key that you were provided with your first download version.

Basically you can download X-Plane 11 as many times as you like, but you can only use one copy at a time with a valid licence when online.

Hope this helps?
