Why does sim crash on startup after latest update?

I deleted (moves) preference folder. That works sometimes, but on next startup, it crashes again and I have to delete Preferences folder to use . Doesn't always work though

This is a problem we’ve been hearing about from a lot of people with AMD GPUs. The fix is very simple:

Go to Output > shadercache and delete the contents of the folder. That will get you flying again.
