I can give some suggestions since I am not part of Laminar. Someone from Laminar will eventually respond to you

This is the most bizarre thing I've seen yet

1) Update your graphics driver if needed

2) Is any of your computer parts going bad such as your monitor? (pixels). Does this flickering happen with any other games or while browsing the web?

3) Is this the "stock" sim

4) Delete your preferences files inside the folder to reset the sim

Hi Mike

Is this the first time you've tried using X-Plane 10 or is this a new development to an install that used to work? Does your system meet the minimum requirements? What graphics card do you have in your computer? We have an old doc about video card compatibility from when X-Plane came out, but if your card is newer it may not apply to this list.

Please upload a copy of the log.txt file found in the main X-Plane folder after running the sim and seeing that problem.

So I  called Apple and was ready to try to get another video card. The is running on an IMac from 2011 which had a video card with known issues. I had it replaced once already so I thought I was good to go. The guy I talked to from Apple told me to reset the power by powering down and removing the power cable for 30 seconds. Once I did that it works fine. I've even upped the rendering settings without any issues. I still think I will take it to Apple to see if the video card needs to be replaced again.

Thanks for the replies.
