Why doesnt my throttle quadrant work?

I bought Xplane 11 and installed my new Saitek Pro Flight yoke and throttle quadrant combo.  Booth light up and have power.  The yoke works fine but the throttle quadrant doesn't.  In fact it wont even let me calibrate.  Since it has power going to it, I am at a loss as to why it wont work (or calibrate).  Is there a setting somewhere in Xplanethat I need to check?

Depending on how the throttle quadrant is connected (directly to the computer or to the yoke) X-Plane may see it as either a separate device or a separate view.
