Is there a way to set the default forward view to a specific zoom and pilot position?

Question

The setup of a desired front cabin view's zoom and head position gets reset whenever the view is changed to any other view (Left,Right etc).  Is there away to have the forward view to return to your last adjustments?   I've got a nice hat control but whenever I use it I then have to readjust the zoom and head position afterward.  Pretty annoying.

I don't think there's a way for X-Plane to just 'remember' the last view position you used. If you are adjusting the view every time you use a specific plane, to get it just how you like it, you might want to try using a "quick view". It requires a num pad though (some Mac keyboards don't have them). Here is the section of the manual that covers it.
