I have used the MIleHighWings USB adaptor for years on X-Plane to connect my RC transmitter and it has worked perfectly.

I have just upgraded to a new MacPro running El Capitan and X-Plane10 and I have no recognition of the RCTx input. The MHW adaptor is no longer in the device list.

Installed USB overdrive and it can see the input OK and selects the correct axis when the controls are moved.

XP10 can see the MHW adaptor when it is plugged in as the 8 bars appear, in red, but do not move when controls are moved on the RCTx.

I have a Logitech Extreme3DPro that works as expected.

Has support for the MHW RC adaptor been dropped?

Is there any other RC adaptors that anyone knows of that will work with XP10?

I do hope someone can help.

Hi Michael,

As far as I know, no support was added or dropped in the latest X-Plane updates. What seems telling to me, in the details you provided, is that you mention you recently upgraded to a new computer running El Capitan. We have had numerous reports of USB device issues with this OS & X-Plane.

You also mention that "MHW adaptor is no longer in the device list." I am not sure where you are seeing this. Can you provide a screenshot of where it was in an older version?

It sounds like you can see the axes in the Joystick & Equipment screen but they do not respond. Did you have the USB adaptor plugged in when you started X-Plane? Please try unplugging it and starting X-Plane, then plugging it back in to see if it then recognizes the axes.

And in the older version

As you can clearly see the MileHighWings device is listed in the XP9.7 version and NOT listed in the XP10 version.

This is without the MHW adaptor plugged in

And this is WITH the MHW adaptor plugged in

I'm sorry, it was not clear from your original post that you had switched from X-Plane 9 to X-Plane 10. I thought you had updated from 10.36 to 10.42, which should not have dropped any devices. From the very last screen shot, it looks like X-Plane 10 is finding the axes of your controller. You will have to set the drop down menus to the correct axes (the sim does not auto detect which is which). The first one has already been set to the throttle, which may or may not be correct. You may also need to calibrate the device. Here is some additional information in the manual about all this.
