I have reached out to Laminar Research twice and have also left them a voicemail. Is there anything else I can do to get some help?

I know you pain, I purchased a copy from Aerosoft and I have the same issue.  Laminar's response was very blunt, and frankly was not what I expected from the company.   Their response was “contact Aerosoft”.  This is going to cause a cat and mouse game I can tell.  I find it very hard to believe that they cannot tell me the reason for “disabling” my software. This would be beneficial information into researching the issue as Aerosoft does not run the validation servers now do they.

Hi thewheel,

I am not with Laminar Research; just a flight simmer not running a digital download version.

Are you running a digital download version and did you purchase from Laminar Research (LR)?

With the digital download I understand you have to be connected to the internet at all times.  I also understand that the "key" is disabled at various times just to make sure you have a legal copy.

If you are running steam then you have to contact that mob as they a 3rd party hybrid product and have no connection with or being part of Laminar Research.

This is not the place to solve your problem.  You need to contact Laminar Research.again  "For lost, disabled, or stolen digital download product keys purchased from this site, please e-mail keyrecovery@x-plane.com

When you do make contact make sure you provide full details of receipt numbers, method of payment etc

Good luck

Glenn
